In the first of a series of special programmes, Titus Jennings, a presenter on Pipeline Radio (and occasional Brain Damage contributor), will feature two hours of material on which David Gilmour guests as either guitarist or vocalist on others' recordings.

Artists included in the line-up include Paul McCartney, BB King, Kate Bush, Dream Academy and Snowy White.

Nicholas Schaffner's biography of Pink Floyd ("A Saucerful Of Secrets - The Pink Floyd Odyssey") has long been respected as one of the better, and accurate, books about the band.

The book covers all aspects of their history, from the early days to the bust-up which saw Roger Waters leave the band in the mid-80s. It presents both sides of the arguments, striving to stay neutral. It has been a good reference book for many. Indeed, Nick Mason consulted it during the research for his own book, "Inside Out".

The August 2005 issue of British publication Word Magazine, which hits UK stores this coming Thursday, is worth tracking down. The reunion of Roger Waters with Pink Floyd for the Live 8 concert on July 2nd is given extensive coverage in the magazine.
