Nick Mason's great new book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" is selling well in various countries, and is now available in the US. To coincide with this, Nick is doing an exhaustive round of interviews and book signings at the moment across the country.

Pink Floyd on Channel 4 TV's 100 Greatest Albums - Sunday Print E-mail

This is a reminder that Pink Floyd's classic 1973 album, Dark Side Of The Moon, has been nominated as one of the 100 Greatest Albums, in this Sunday's (April 17th) Channel 4 TV special in the UK.

We revealed last month that the special, to be broadcast at 8pm, includes newly recorded interviews with David Gilmour in the Pink Floyd segment, and the programme itself is a look at "songs that have changed our lives, from singers and musicians spanning 50 years - from folk to rap, jazz to punk rock, R&B to glam rock."

The Pink Floyd Tsunami Raffle closed at the end of March, with the winners being picked on April 2nd. All the totals have been totted up now, and we are very happy to reveal the total that was raised through the generosity of those who donated items, those who publicised the raffle, and, of course, those who bought raffle tickets!

Clare Torry wins settlement against Pink Floyd Print E-mail

On July 8th last year we reported on a rather strange news story - that vocalist Clare Torry was taking Pink Floyd and its record company EMI, to court, suing them for damages and lost earnings.

Torry provided the improvised vocal on The Great Gig In The Sky, and was paid the standard fee of £30 for her work on January 23rd 1973. However, some thirty-one years later she claimed that she composed the song, and asked the High Court for monies she believed were due to her, a half-share of copyright ownership and a 50 per cent share, possibly worth millions, of past and future income.
