June 20th sees a remastered, 20-bit reissue of Pink Floyd "London 1966-1967", which features a full length studio version of "Interstellar Overdrive" and the otherwise unheard "Nick's Boogie".
The tracks were recorded at the now defunct Sound Techniques Studio, London, on January 11th and 12th, 1967, for Peter Whitehead's "Tonight Let's Make Love In London" film.

Further to our previous news stories about the Pink Floyd-scored movie, The Committee, we now have full details of the long-awaited DVD release for you.
The film was originally released back in 1968, and has been unavailable since. Snippets of the Floyd score have appeared but the film itself never has - except maybe in one or two private collections. The wait is now over though, as it will be available from July 4th 2005 worldwide.

We have had loads of emails from people worldwide (thanks to you all!) regarding the rumours of Pink Floyd reforming (WITH Roger Waters, too) to appear at the "Live 8" concert that speculation says will be happening at the start of July.
We have heard back from the band's PR company, who categorically state that they are not appearing, and we also spoke with Pink Floyd's management (PFM) today, who confirmed that all the talk of the band reforming is simply rumour - there are no discussions between the band members past and present ongoing, and no intention to open discussions.

As we have reported (most recently on May 1st), Roger Waters has completed his long-awaited opera and we have today received the official press release for the project.
We spoke to (Roger's manager) Mark Fenwick's office today to find out a little more - principally the worldwide release dates (these will be around the US date quoted below), and if the cover art was available yet. This is still being worked on and won't be available for a little while...
As we previously reported, Roger has been talking to Rolling Stone about the album, and a possible performance in Rome this November.

Back on February 15th, we told you that Pink Floyd were going through their stage props, sitting in storage, to see what is still in reasonable condition.
One of the major pieces that they have sorted out, and is now just about to appear on eBay, is the legendary mirror ball flower, used for many years in various iterations and configurations as a focal part of the show, during Shine On You Crazy Diamond, but most recently on the 1994 Division Bell tour.
