The première of Storm Thorgerson's US exhibition of "Mind Over Matter: The Images Of Pink Floyd" took place on Saturday October 13th in Los Angeles, at the Mr. Musichead gallery on the legendary Sunset Boulevard.
We first told you about the event back on June 27th, including the chance to win a one-off airbrushed car or Les Paul guitar. Brain Damage was of course on hand to check out the event, chat to Storm himself, and bring you pictures and information about what to expect...

Back on September 17th,
we told you that our friends Rockmusicmemorabilia.com had found two remaining 1975 Knebworth Pink Floyd commemorative sets, which promptly sold out as soon as they were mentioned on
Brain Damage and A Fleeting Glimpse (our great sister site). So, they have decided to offer sets numbered 1/200 and 200/200 - the first and last of this edition.

It's with pleasure that we are finally able to bring you some proper news on the much-speculated on, upcoming "Pink Floyd Mini-Vinyl Studio Box Set"!
The set has been rumoured for some time, and various sites have posted information on it with varying degrees of accuracy, but we've just been given the official "nod" to reveal certain details to you of what will surely be on many peoples' Christmas present lists, including the confirmed release date and ordering details.
With not just the studio albums inside Storm Thorgerson's specially designed box (click the thumbnail on the left for a better look) even those who have the entire back catalogue with find something of interest...

Starting Monday is a touring exhibition with a big difference. Four very different British designers were challenged to create art using Glenfiddich whisky barrels. The designers are drawn from across the worlds of fashion, interiors, books and music - most notably, Storm Thorgerson, a legend within the music world and more specifically, amongst the Pink Floyd community.
The four barrel designers took their inspiration from the whisky ageing process and in particular the specific year the barrels were first laid down for maturation. We have details, including an exclusive picture of Storm's piece, and where you can see it...
