One of the more popular items that have been promoted through Brain Damage, is Nick Mason's excellent book, "Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" signed with your choice of dedication, by Nick himself.
Even though the offer has been running for quite a while, as at February 2010 Nick is still more than happy to take care of this for you! What better present for the Floyd nut in your life?

UK Radio station Gold's David Jensen recently undertook an interesting interview with David Gilmour, and this is now available as a free downloadable podcast. Go to www.mygoldmusic.com/podcasts for more info on the station and also the podcasts themselves.
Highlights of the interview includes much on his recently released 2DVD set, "Remember That Night" and the associated shows last year, along with what the future might bring, and his earliest memories of Syd Barrett: "...We went up to Paris and went round the Louvre and Syd who was an art student was explaining things to me, going to see the Mona Lisa, and buying the Naked Lunch and the Story of O (books that were illegal in England) from the Olympic Press in Paris, and sitting by the tent on a campsite outside Paris with a torch late at night reading them and... having a lot of great times. German radio station SWR2 recently held a huge public poll to find out the public's view on the 200 best records of all time. Pink Floyd dominated proceedings, easily taking #1 with Wish You Were Here, #2 with The Wall, #6 with DSOTM, and #158 with Animals.
To accompany the results, SWR2 concocted an impressive mosaic of album covers, which viewed as a whole, made it clear which album had triumphed! Click the thumbnail to the right to see the mosaic in more detail, and the poll itself in full. (Thanks to Rolf Siegenthaler for the info!)

Well, we've finished going through the hundreds of entries we received for our fabulous, signed, David Gilmour lithograph. And the lucky winner, drawn at random, is... Gustavo Cirigliano from Argentina. Congratulations to Gustavo, and better luck next time to those who weren't so fortunate.

On October 31st Gerald Scarfe is staging another of his unmissable illustrated talks. Being held at London's National Gallery, at 1pm, tickets for the event (to be held in the Sainsbury Wing of the Gallery) are free, with no booking, but attendees are advised to arrive early to ensure their seat.
We had the pleasure of attending one of Gerald's illustrated talks in London, and another in Brighton, over the past two years, and both were fascinating and amusing looks at his career, including his work with Pink Floyd. Definitely worth going to, if you can!
