A rarely-heard and hard to obtain Roger Waters track from late 2004 is getting its first worldwide release on the soundtrack album of a new movie.
To Kill The Child was initially available as an internet only download (along with Leaving Beirut), until a limited CD single coupling both tracks was released in Japan on January 3rd, 2005. To Kill The Child now appears on "Body Of War: Songs That Inspired An Iraqi War Veteran" and this is released the same day as the opening of the movie ("Body Of War") in the US - March 18th.
Full details of the film, and the tracklisting of the album, follow below, but to place your order for this for delivery upon release, at time of writing with a discount, please use the following special links: Amazon UK, Amazon US/International, Amazon Canada, Amazon Germany, or Amazon France.

Music for All - a Music Industries Association linked charity - is holding a fund-raising auction on eBay, starting on February 28th at 8.00pm GMT, and running for 10 days. Two of the lots feature Nick Mason signed items: a pair of his signature sticks and a Paiste 505 china cymbal signed by him. Click thumbnail to the left to view the items (which are being auctioned as separate lots).
DrumWright Ltd (a drum shop based in Reading) is hosting the auction - go to www.stores.ebay.co.uk/DrumWright-Ltd, then to 'Rock of Ages Charity Auction'. We are sure that bidding for these items will be very strong, and wish the charity the best of luck in their fund raising efforts. Our thanks to Chris Wright from DrumWright Ltd for getting in touch with this info.

With the band's headquarters in Melbourne promising to deliver "the biggest, most spectacular show ever," we know that many of you are eagerly looking forward to the Australian Pink Floyd Show's forthcoming UK tour which starts on April 2nd in Brighton.
Over the last fifteen years, the band's following has grown at an incredible rate, resulting in sell-out shows all over. The 2008 show will receive an even more lavish production, with more lasers, more lights, more complex projections and even better inflatables!
And in the latest Brain Damage competition, we're giving away a pair of tickets to the show of your choice, a copy of their latest DVD "Live At The Royal Albert Hall", and some DVD and CD samplers.

We've been contacted this afternoon by Roger's manager to confirm, as we expected upon reading it on the BBC website, that there is absolutely NO truth to the rumoured appearance this coming Saturday at The Winkfield pub of Roger Waters and Nick Mason. UPDATE: the BBC have this evening posted a retraction of their previous story about the event, which can be seen here.
