Aspiring musicians or key concert personnel, who have some disposable income and are available on February 15th - 18th 2008 might be tempted to take part in the latest Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp. Being held in Hollywood, California, the event gives the unique opportunity to share the House Of Blues stage with legends of rock. You live and breathe the music business in this residential course.
Amongst the stars taking part in the Hollywood camp is none other than our very own Nick Mason! So if you fancy playing along to Nick's signature drumming, whilst alongside you are the likes of Brian Wilson and Micky Dolenz, or operating the lights, mixing the sound (or even humping the equipment around!) check out www.RockCamp.com for more details.

Quite remarkably it is twenty years since the release of Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, the band's first since the departure of Roger Waters. Highly respected US radio show In The Studio will be airing their 1987 AMLOR special, featuring David Gilmour and Nick Mason talking about the album's creation, this week. Visit www.InTheStudio.net for details of the many radio stations which carry the syndicated show. (Thanks to Terrence Reardon for the tip-off!)

Days In The Life features the four members of the classic Floyd line-up - David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Rick Wright - telling their own story via a series of new interviews.
Make sure you tune in on Saturday, November 17th at 8pm GMT for the first hour-long part. The second part follows exactly one week later...

We know that many of you are itching to get your hands on the forthcoming limited edition, Pink Floyd mini vinyl LP replica, CD box set collection, "Oh, By The Way...". The band's official website has just been updated with details of the box set, confirming what is included within Storm Thorgerson's intriguing packaging.
As part of their news story, they show two cover images - presumably front and back - which you can also see here (click thumbnail to the left). They also confirm the set comes with a specially designed 40th Anniversary fabric poster featuring 40 Floyd images. For those who cannot wait, check out Storm's book Mind Over Matter for a sneak preview!
One thing to note, particularly for those who are buying the set for Christmas presents - they state that the release date will now be December 10th (December 11th in the US). More details of the set here.
