Capitol Records have confirmed to us that everything is on track to release the DVD and VHS video of David Gilmour In Concert on November 5th. As yet, we are unaware of any differences between the US and European releases of the DVD - both are actually not region coded (so will play in any player) - it should just be a difference of NTSC or PAL broadcast system that they are encoded for.

As promised, in the early hours of October 21st (the release date of the European DVD and VHS editions) Channel 4 TV in the UK broadcast an edited version of the Meltdown performance. Tracks broadcast were:
-
Shine On You Crazy Diamond
- - advertisement break
- Fat Old Sun
- High Hopes
- - another ad break
- Je Crois Entendre Encore
- Wish You Were Here
- Comfortably Numb (with Robert Wyatt)
- - another ad break
- Dimming Of The Day
- Shine On (reprise)
- Hushabye Mountain
The digital feed of Channel 4 broadcast the show in anamorphic widescreen. A reasonable selection but the advert breaks were a little intrusive - especially as it was in the early hours of the morning!
