As we've reported before, there have been many comments regarding a performance of Roger Waters forthcoming opera "Ca Ira", in Italy.
Today, in Rome, it was announced that the Auditorium Parco della Musica in the city would be staging the performance on November 17th. The organisers said that it would be performed by 100 members of the Rome Symphony Orchestra, along with an 80-strong choir, some of which will be children (who feature in the piece). They also noted that Roger himself may conduct. And, just to make it official, Roger's manager confirmed to us that this was the case.

In our previous news stories about John Harris's eagerly anticipated book, "The Making Of The Pink Floyd Masterpiece, The Dark Side of The Moon" (most recently on May 1st), we've just been sent the final cover image by the publishers.

Seventies country rock band Unicorn have at long last had four of their classic albums released on CD.
Blue Pine Trees, Too Many Crooks and One More Tomorrow (all of which were produced and played on by David Gilmour) have now been digitally remastered by legendary Pink Floyd Sound Engineer Andy Jackson at Gilmour's Astoria floating studio. They come with the original English Hipgnosis artwork and each CD has a bonus track. These CD's will, shortly, be available from www.ItsAboutMusic.com and they are reputed to sound excellent. Uphill All The Way is already available from this site.
We've caught up with Unicorn's bassist, Pat Martin, to ask him a few questions about the reissues, and also David's involvement with the band...
