Yesterday (November 6th) Roger Waters was interviewed on the A&E TV programme (broadcast in the US and Canada), "Breakfast With The Arts", by Karina Huber.
The fourteen-minute chat with (a fairly tired looking) Waters principally covered his recently released opera, Ca Ira. He started with talk of the genesis of the project, and how he was talked into the English translation, against his initial wishes.

Nick Mason's wonderful book "Inside
Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" is selling well in its various
formats, helped by the interviews and appearances that Nick has made in
promotion of the tome. For some time now, we have given the possibility
for Brain Damage visitors to order a personally signed, dedicated copy
of the book, by Nick himself.

With just three days left until the arrival of the Live 8 DVD for most countries, the official website for the release has made the second, and concluding, half of an exclusive interview with Sir Bob Geldof, available as a podcast or download.
In Part 2 of the Live 8 Podcast Bob was asked how he felt about playing to 200,000 people in Hyde Park, what he thought was achieved politically from the whole series of events and how he managed to cajole
Pink Floyd back into playing live. Somehow he managed to talk the seminal line up to perform with Roger Waters for the first time in 24 years! There are more audio clips from the concerts, including Pink Floyd's performance of 'Money' from the event.

Back on 8th September we were first to bring you the news that Pink Floyd are amongst the inductees to
the 2005 UK Music Hall Of Fame. We have another update for you - with great news for our friends in
America who will also be able to watch the complete induction ceremony, which happens on 16th November at London's Alexandra Palace.
