With the September publication of Nick Mason's eagerly anticipated book "Inside Out - A Personal History of Pink Floyd" looming ever closer, we recently received a promotional folder at Brain Damage HQ, showing what is currently expected to be the cover shot (although of course, subject to change).

David Gilmour at upcoming Fender charity concert Print E-mail

It has been announced that Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour will definitely be appearing at a large charity event to celebrate the Fender Stratocaster guitar. The event, which is in aid of Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy, will take place at Wembley Arena on September 24th 2004 and will feature a mix of legends and contemporary artists.

Syd Barrett feature in Dutch Rock Magazine Print E-mail

The current edition of the Dutch progressive rock magazine iO-Pages contains the first of a two part dossier on former Pink Floyd frontman Syd Barrett.

The first part is subtitled The Rise And Fall Of 'Crazy' Diamond, covering the period from his childhood "till the moment LSD became a important part of his life. As a musician Syd is described as a limited guitar player who had a good ear for Bo Diddley, The Byrds and Frank Zappa".

Pink Floyd soundtracked movie "More" on German TV Print E-mail

"More", one of Barbet Schroeder's classic titles, will be shown on Germany's Arte TV channel on June 30th at 22:30 hrs. More features a soundtrack of Pink Floyd music, specially written and recorded for the film. The versions of the songs on the soundtrack differ to the album that was released around the same time, and it also includes a song never released anywhere else!
