Further to our previous news items about Nick Mason's long-awaited, and much anticipated, book about Pink Floyd, called "Inside Out - A Personal History", to be published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson in the UK and Europe, we have an update on the publication date courtesy of the publishers...

On the day Pink Floyd's former front man Roger Waters launched a War on Want campaign on Israel's dividing wall, the World Court (the International Court Of Justice in the Hague) declared the wall illegal. Roger is the first of many musicians, poets, comedians and actors to sign an 8 foot tall mock up of the wall, which will travel round the UK and be presented to the UK government as a petition. Roger appended "We don't need no thought control" under his signature.

Come September 9th this year, it will be hard to avoid Nick Mason in many bookshops! Apart from "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" (mentioned elsewhere on these news pages), a revised version of Nick's "Into The Red" book appears on the same day.

With the strapline "22 Cars That Shaped A Century Of Motor Sport", it is a look at some of the greatest vehicles from Nick's extensive collection, which is stored in London.
