In an interview with former Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters prior to the Bridgehampton Chamber Music
Festival, and noted in our report of the concert, Waters made mention of a possible appearance at a
charity show this summer. The interview in the August edition of the Hampton Jitney Magazine had the
following comments:
"Well, I may be doing a couple of songs with Don Henley, who is a pal of mine, at the Huggy Bear Benefit this summer."
Thanks to this morning's New York Post, we now know that the concert, a private affair, was held last night at Tony Forstmann's Cobb Road estate in the Hamptons.

Italian newspaper "La Repubblica", in collaboration with Italian magazine "L'Espresso", will release a multi-CD compilation dedicated to 50 years of rock music with over 200 songs in total. Each CD will be on sale at 5,50 euros each (plus the newspaper or magazine price), and include Pink Floyd tracks amongst the other classics present.

Further to our recent items regarding the news that Roger Waters will be making two new tracks available
soon on the internet, for his fans to download, we have now received a confirmed date for the appearance of the tracks, and also clarification of the rumours relating to the appearance of these tracks on the Michael Moore Fahrenheit 9/11 soundtrack.

Yesterday's Night&Day supplement accompanying UK newspaper The Mail On Sunday, included an interesting interview with British opera singer Bryn Terfel, who is appearing on the recording of the forthcoming opera from former Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters. The opera, Ca Ira, is scheduled to appear next year. The interview covers his career, and of course touches on his work with Roger:
