The 2005 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which should yet again feature participation from Pink Floyd's Nick Mason, has announced revised dates. The event will now be held on June 24th - 26th, due to a decision by the FIA to revise its Formula One Grand Prix calendar. The Festival was to be held in July but the date has been changed so that there is no clash with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Since late 2003, long-time fan, collector and contributor to Brain Damage Chris Leith has been undertaking the exhaustive task of conducting extensive research concerning all Pink Floyd concerts and any other related activity in his home county of Kent, located in south east England, with the ultimate intention of compiling and publishing a book in the future.

Former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters features in the news pages of the March 2005 issue of the UK's well-respected music magazine, Mojo.
The magazine (which is in shops now, and features Bob Marley on the cover), talks about Roger's current workloads. Firstly, it talks of Ca Ira, his long awaited opera of which excerpts have been performed live at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and at the Maltese EU entry celebrations.
