The documentary about Pink Floyd's 1973 masterpiece, Dark Side Of The Moon, in the Classic Albums series, gets an airing on Danish TV this coming Friday, October 15th.

The show, which was a fantastic, track-by-track analysis of the album by the band, who recreated many key moments in the studio and also played the odd demo or live version of certain tracks, is being aired on Danish TV station "DR2". It will be part of a programme called "Musikprogrammet" which will be on at 23:00hrs. In the studio Danish rock musician Kasper Eistrup (from Kashmir) who we watched audition at Roger Waters for his 'In The Flesh' 2002 tour in the film Rocket Brothers, will be interviewed about the album (and documentary).

Many of you will recall that Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour appeared with Jools Holland at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity show at London's Royal Albert Hall, on April 1st this year.

We confirmed in June that there will be a DVD of the Jools Holland night at the Royal Albert Hall. We've had a number of emails from people eager to find out the status of this release. We spoke with Jools Holland's management today to find out for you... They told us that the visual mix was completed last week, and the audio mix is being completed this week.

We recently reported that the US and Canadian Region 1 release of the "Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett Story" DVD, would be out next month. The DVD, which includes an extra bonus chapter not included on the European/Australian versions, also features wonderful all-new cover art, the current version of which is shown to the right.
