On Friday night, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour appeared alongside a whole host of top musicians at the London Wembley Arena charity event to celebrate the Fender Stratocaster guitar. The event, in aid of Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy, included Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Brian May (Queen), The Shadows' Hank Marvin, Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Mike Rutherford (Genesis/Mike & The Mechanics), Paul Carrack (Squeeze/Mike & The Mechanics), The Crickets, Gary Moore, Jamie Cullum and Amy Winehouse. Jeff Beck, Johnny Marr and Bryan Adams were all scheduled to appear but were unable to attend.

Further to our previous news story that Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour will be appearing at a large
charity event to celebrate the Fender Stratocaster guitar, we now have more confirmed artists at the event for you. The event, which is in aid of Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy, will take place at Wembley Arena this coming Friday, September 24th and will feature a mix of legends and contemporary artists.

To coincide with the release of former Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters' two new songs - Leaving Beirut and To Kill The Child - Roger has been interviewed by Jimmy Ienner, who has taken some wonderful pictures of Waters over the last few years, not just on stage, but formal portraits too.

It was with great pleasure that Brain Damage attended the press launch of Storm Thorgerson's London
exhibition - "Taken By Storm", last night. The exhibition, a showcase for Storm’s artwork including many fantastic Pink Floyd items, is being held at the John Martin Gallery in Chelsea, London, from September 22nd until October 9th 2004.
