Fancy owning a genuine piece of Pink Floyd history? Ever seen a bit of their stage show that you wanted for your home? Soon you may have your chance... The band are currently going through their bits and pieces sitting in storage, to see what is still in reasonable condition. One of the major pieces that they have sorted out is the legendary mirror ball flower, used for many years in various iterations and configurations as a focal part of the show, during Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
The mechanism to operate the mirror ball flower would need some serious work and cash to get it back up and running, should it need to be brought back into service (not something that is going to happen any day soon, sadly).
So, they've decided to offer individual part of the flower (such as the petals) soon. We hope to have more details of this soon... By the way, to put your minds at rest, certain items have been put to one side for potential future use!

We reported back in December 2004 that the UK's Virgin Radio marked the 25 year anniversary of the
release of Pink Floyd's classic album "The Wall, with an in-depth interview with drummer Nick Mason.
The interview was part of their regular "Superstars" show, and was conducted with Virgin's Ben Jones. Broadcast on December 4th, the whole album was played with Nick discussing each track in turn. However, many people missed this interview, and so we're pleased to impart the following news...
They have now made the show available to listen to again, on demand. Hear Nick as he talks through each track, the recording process, and describes the live shows for the album... The interview lasts 37
minutes, as they have cut out all the music - but then we guess you already have the album (and if not, why not?!). Click here to launch the interview page.
