We reported two days ago about Nick Mason's appearance in New York City, to promote his great new book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd". In the current issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, cover date April 21st 2005 (issue 972), they look at the 100 greatest artists of all time, in a feature called "The Immortals".
Despite the fact that Pink Floyd don't appear, Roger Waters does make a contribution - talking of his love of Cream, who make the number 66 spot. The band - Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker - are reforming for a handful of shows in London at the start of May, and Roger will be visiting the Royal Albert Hall to see them perform.

Yesterday's San Francisco Chronicle had an interesting look at Nick Mason's new book, "Inside Out", and interviewed the Pink Floyd drummer about the creation of the tome. The article, headed "Drummer keeps stiff upper lip in Pink Floyd book that might set tongues wagging", has Nick talking about the past, the present, and what the future might bring.

Nick Mason's great new book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" is selling well in various countries, and is now available in the US. To coincide with this, Nick underwent an exhaustive round of interviews and book signings, and here is our report on the fourth city that Nick visited - New York. And in the report, there's an exclusive update on the Wall on Broadway from a friend of Nick's who turned up - one Roger Waters, no less!
Roger, who has a home in New York's Hampton's area, is believed to have gone for a meal with Nick that evening, no doubt catching up with each other.
