Further to our previous news and pre-publication offer for the new book, pictured right, which includes a documentary on DVD that Pink Floyd's David Gilmour provides the soundtrack to, we now can tell you more about the package, which has now hit the store shelves.
The book provides a legitimate way of getting your hands on the 1994 documentary, long unobtainable, and much in demand from Pink Floyd, and in particular, David Gilmour fans. We have had a chance to go through the package, and report our findings here...

Nick Mason's wonderful new book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" is selling well, helped by the interviews and appearances that Nick has made in promotion of the tome. We now have more updates for you of upcoming events, and a reminder of another interview with Nick

The recent Storm Thorgerson exhibition "Taken By Storm", held in Chelsea, London, was a big
success, and we can bring you the great news that the show will be touring the globe! The show features a number of classic Pink Floyd images, along with Storm's work for other artists... and Storm himself is sure to turn up to many of the shows as well!

At the end of last week, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason was interviewed for the UK's Teletext service. This is part of the ITV television network, and is a text-based precursor to the Internet, being broadcast alongside the TV signals, and viewable on most TVs in the UK.
The interview, by Alistair Clay, seems to contradict most of the other recent interviews undertaken by Nick. Starting with the assertion that "rock veterans Pink Floyd will regroup to record new material, predicts drummer Nick Mason", he is quoted as saying:

As we mentioned last month, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason has put down his drumsticks and picked up his pen yet again, contributing to the forthcoming "Goodwood Festival of Speed" book by Richard Sutton, which is published by Harper Collins very soon.
The book, originally due on October 4th 2004, has suffered a slight delay. The publishers have told us that due to a problem with the quality of the printing, the books are all being redone from scratch. With a book promising to be a lavish look at the history of the event, of which Nick has only missed one year, being on tour at the time, they wanted to make sure that the book was as good as they could make it.
