The rap-rock band Korn have recorded, in May this year, Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall to be part of their greatest hits compilation, to be released this autumn/fall. The band have been playing the song, actually all three parts played together, in their recent European shows - and you can hear the June 23rd performance by downloading this compressed file. The band's Jonathan Davis said "We tried it in Hannover, Germany. Kids were out there throwing their Xs up, from the movie. It was surprising to see how many young kids know Pink Floyd and know all the words to that song.
"Pink Floyd's an amazing band, they always set a mood. The movie 'The Wall' is amazing. There were three versions of it on the original album, so we made it into one long song with 'Goodbye Cruel World' at the end." The Pink Floyd classic was produced collectively by Korn for the album.

upcoming releases. Whilst at the moment there are a number of details that are far from being definite, we felt that you would want to hear what there is - however brief! Certainly from the many emails we
receive each week, upcoming releases are of major interest.

Further to our news story on the 27th June, the rare 1968 footage of Pink Floyd performing three takes of Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, completed its auction yesterday.
The footage, on offer via the internet auction site eBay, was shot for the BBC and used, in a heavily edited, and red-washed format, in the 1968 documentary All My Loving, which was recently repeated as part of BBC4 TV's look at the sixties. Despite some fairly hectic bidding at times, the film finally finished at an impressive, and pretty fair, £623 to a collector in Europe.
For all of us who missed out on the footage, there is still a 17MB low resolution (but still wonderful!) Windows Media Video format file that you can view or download through this link. At 17MB it is a lengthly download for many, but despite this, is worthwhile!
