In an interesting interview with Manchester Online about his new book "Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd", Nick Mason yet again scotched the rumours that the band are reuniting, potentially with Roger Waters, for a reunion tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Wish You Were Here album.

Mason seems puzzled as to the source of the rumour, initially reported in Q Magazine, and seized upon by fans and media worldwide. "I don't know where this one has come from," the exasperated drummer told Manchester Online. "There is no chance of that happening. I don't think there is any reason for Roger to rejoin the fold and I am not sure that David [Gilmour] would be happy with that anyway."

When asked about the status of the band, he said: "It's really down to David. If David wants to do it, we will work again." Indeed, when Brain Damage chatted to him on Tuesday, he came out with the same sentiments.

The interview with Manchester Online is interesting, and covers the band's relationship these days with Syd Barrett, who is living quietly in Cambridge, being looked after chiefly by his brother.
