As a tribute, BBC2 TV in the UK are
showing the 2001 Omnibus documentary "Syd Barrett: Crazy Diamond"
again, on July 27th at 11:20pm BST (GMT+1hr).
Most of you will be familiar with
this, but if you haven't seen it, it is a fascinating, and well
crafted, look at the history of the band with a particular focus on the
very early days of the band.

In the new edition of the Asian
edition of Time Magazine, published tomorrow, Nick Mason pays tribute
to his old friend and Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett, who sadly passed
away on July 7th.

Recent touring activity by David
Gilmour and Roger Waters seems to have helped boost sales figures. In
Malta alone, Roger's show there recently has triggered the island into
a Pink Floyd frenzy!

Our thoughts
are with the friends and family of Bryan Morrison, who we've heard this
evening is seriously ill in hospital, following an accident. He formed
the Bryan Morrison Agency, a management and booking agency, who looked
after Floyd (amongst others) in their early days. Incidentally, the
late Steve O'Rourke was part of the team. Our prayers are with you,
Bryan, for a swift recovery.
