UK record company Redline Records (part of Cherry Red) have just
released "Re-Building The Wall", a superb 2CD set of some of the
biggest progressive and rock musicians interpreting and reconstructing Roger Waters' conceptual masterpiece, Pink Floyd's epic 1979 album.
Featuring almost a complete "who's who" of musicians on the various
tracks (from bands such as Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull, The Doors, and many
more), it is a blistering, yet faithful, tribute to the original classic album - a very enjoyable experience.

world's largest airshow this summer. They have agreed to transport the
winners of the BBC Children in Need Royal International Air Tattoo
competition to RAF Fairford Gloucestershire in July 2007, and we have
more details of what this will entail...

Long sought after, and afforded almost legendary status amongst Floyd collectors, is the compilation album Picnic: A Breath Of Fresh Air. This was released in June 1970 and was particularly notable for the inclusion of the otherwise unreleased classic Pink Floyd track, Embryo.
On the release of the album, the band were reportedly aghast, as it was an unfinished demo of the track which Harvest used without checking first.
Let's hope that the band are now happier that fans hear the track, as EMI/Harvest reissue the album, expanded to a 3CD set, this coming Monday, April 16th, in the UK!
