We know that many of you are chomping at the bit, eager to get your hands on the two new, 40th anniversary editions of Pink Floyd's 1967 début album, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn - the regular 2CD set, and the expanded 3CD set which is housed in a very special, Storm Thorgerson designed package (see picture on right).

Today sees the first anniversary of the publication of Vernon Fitch's "Comfortably Numb", a stunning limited edition book covering all aspects of Pink Floyd's The Wall project (read our review). Over the past year, the deluxe, numbered edition book has been a great success, receiving rave reviews from all quarters: Classic Rock magazine named it their number one book of the year, and Record Collector gave it five stars (its highest rating) and included it on its books of the year list.
If you are quick, they still have copies available to buy through www.PFApublishing.com where sample
pages and more details can be found... in our view, an essential book for the Floyd fan's bookshelves, so don't miss out!

The Playbox Theatre in Warwick, in collaboration with the Oxjam Music Festival (which consists of a number of different events), will be staging a new production of Pink Floyd's The Wall in November. The production will be performed in partnership with the eight-piece Floyd tribute band Breathe, who will perform the soundtrack at each of the five shows.
Roger Waters' manager Mark Fenwick, and stage set designer Mark Fisher, have both assisted with this new production, which will benefit Oxfam in their fight to end poverty - Oxjam being the charity's most ambitious music event ever.
