In the Netherlands or Belgium in September and fancy something a bit different? Between September 8th and September 22nd, the award-winning NNO (Noord Nederlands Orkest), which has roots leading back to 1862 (the oldest orchestra in the Netherlands today), perform Symphonic Echoes of Pink Floyd. Visitors to a Los Angeles art gallery this autumn will be in the running to win a one-off airbrushed car or Les Paul guitar, as part of Pink Floyd's 40th anniversary celebrations.

Storm Thorgerson, who designed most of Pink Floyd's iconic album art, will premiere a new exhibition of his work and launch not one, but two books at Los Angeles' Mr Musichead Rock Art Gallery in October.
