The demon guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Mike Keneally, who joined the late, great Frank Zappa's band back in 1987, is behind an interesting couple of events coming up. Since the beginning of April, he has been training a group of 7 to 18 year-old musicians of varying experience to play the entire "Pink Floyd - The Wall" album. The three shows below are the public debut of Mike's first School of Rock class.

Roger Waters is amongst the performers taking part in the VH1 Save The Music Foundation's 10th anniversary gala, to be held in September, it was announced today.

The event will take place at the Lincoln Center in New York City, and other performers taking part will include Jon Bon Jovi and John Mayer.

As many know, there are a multitude of Pink Floyd tribute bands across the world, and it is impossible for us to provide coverage of them. However, there are the odd exceptions and the Australian Pink Floyd Show, who played at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party, are one of those.

They are headlining the Liverpool Summer Pops event this year, playing on July 7th - and we've got a pair of tickets for the show to give away!

Nick Mason takes a break from his various music-related activities to participate in a fairly unique annual motoring event, taking place this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 22nd - 24th).

Nick will be - amongst other things - driving a replica of the famous 1936 supercharged V16 Auto Union C-Type racing car.
