We're sure that you'll be relieved to see that we're back, following a much-needed break! Of course, seeing the mountain of emails that arrived during that time has made us want to leap back onto the plane, but rest assured that we'll bring you up to date as quickly as possible. This will include Roger's concerts that took place while we were away, along with the Games For May shows, an interview we undertook with one of the performers at the Syd tribute, and news including an upcoming Syd documentary on BBC radio. Thank you for your patience - it's appreciated!

Looks like the problems in Ottawa, with Roger's concert clashing with hockey's Stanley Cup playoffs, have been resolved.
Roger's manager told us yesterday that efforts were being made to swap the problematic Scotiabank Place concert on June 4th, with the show two days later (June 6th) at Quebec's Colisee Pepsi. Ottawan radio station CHEZ106 have just broken the news that the swap has indeed taken place.
The new date for Roger Waters at Scotiabank Place is therefore Wednesday June 6th, and his Quebec City show will now be two days earlier on June 4th. All tickets purchased for the original dates will be honoured for the new dates. Refunds will be available at point of purchase, if required.

So that you are aware, there will be no site updates for the coming week. This includes news and show reviews. However, don't panic, we'll be back, and we will bring you all up to date with any happenings that have taken place whilst we've been away. In the meantime, our sister site A Fleeting Glimpse (www.pinkfloydz.com) will be happy to keep you posted on anything important that occurs...

The second episode in the BBC's excellent new look at "The Seven Ages Of Rock" airs this weekend, and is the episode which features Pink Floyd heavily. With rare, vintage clips (one or two of which haven't even made it into the "unofficial collector's" realm) and new interviews with all the band members, it really is one to watch!
The show airs on BBC2 TV on Saturday evening at 21:05hrs (British Summertime - GMT+1hr), and gets a swift repeat on BBC1 TV on Sunday evening at 23:00hrs. BBC TV can be received by viewers across the majority of Europe via satellite; within the UK of course you can view it via regular analogue (using an aerial), or using a variety of digital platforms - Freeview, Virgin Media, or Sky Digital.
For those who want a flavour of the show, we have clips of the show for you, plus some more information on some of the Floydness you will see...
