DG's Remember That Night cinematic premiere - Canada ticket info Print E-mail

As we've previously mentioned, the North American cinematic première of David Gilmour's forthcoming DVD, "Remember That Night", takes in 54 cinemas across Canada when it takes place on September 15th. DavidGilmour.com have this afternoon revealed that tickets go on sale tomorrow, from each cinema's box office and also online.

Details of participating cinemas here, and online ticketing will take place at Cineplex.com. Tickets will be $12.95 plus tax.

 
Film director Michelangelo Antonioni dies Print E-mail

Italian film director Michelangelo Antonioni passed away on Monday night aged 94. He is best known to Pink Floyd fans for his 1970 movie, Zabriskie Point, where the band provided a number of songs (many unreleased officially) for the soundtrack, in legendary sessions that Nick Mason wrote about in his book Inside Out.

piper40cover Since appearing on the UK branch of Amazon yesterday, sales of the limited 3CD package of Pink Floyd's seminal 1967 debut, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, look set to easily eclipse the competition. Sales of the 2CD edition are steady, too, despite the added value of the 3CD set.

The much anticipated release (full details here) has shot many thousands of places up their sales charts, and could become one of their summer best-sellers. It is also selling strongly in North America and other regions. Don't miss out - place your order now!
