A new DVD is being planned by the people behind the annual Glastonbury Festival, showcasing highlights since 1994 of the event, shot by Glastonbury Television. The release date will be announced later this year, but the contents are to be decided by YOU.
They are inviting votes from the public, of which artist they would most like to see on the DVD. Roger Waters is of course one of the many options. The more votes they receive for Roger, the more chance that footage of his 2002 appearance will be included. (Please don't, however, submit multiple votes with the same email address, as they will be discounted). Vote now at the Glastonbury Festival website!

The August 2003 issue of new motoring magazine, Octane, has just hit the shops. The publication is devoted to classic sports and racing cars, with features on the beasts themselves and their drivers.
This second issue includes a nice two-page feature and interview with Nick Mason. It concentrates on his "Favourite Things", which include racing (obviously), cooking, and his own spec drum sticks ("I'm sure there are plenty of drummers who can make a set of sticks last for a few concerts but with me it gets a bit Robin Hood, with shards of wood flying around")!
If you experience difficulties in finding a copy of issue 2, please call +44 (0)1733 392894, and they should be able to sort you out a copy.

In this week's NME (the UK's long-running music newspaper), Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis, presents her ultimate compilation in their regular "Burn It" feature.
Amongst the tracks are two from Pink Floyd: Comfortably Numb ("This song was like my anthem as a teen and it seems to have stayed that way. I really identified with both the lyrics and the song..."), and Brain Damage ("It's just brilliant. It's a great track to throw on late at night after a bottle of wine. You can lose yourself in this one.").
Other tracks selected came from the likes of Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, and The Beatles.

UK radio station BBC 6 Music played Dark Side Of The Moon live from November 16th 1974, in their Dream Ticket slot back on March 6th. Unfortunately, due to a technical error the end of the show was cut off from the broadcast.
The BBC have finally scheduled a repeat (complete this time, hopefully!) for Monday July 14th. 6 Music is a digital radio station, so will be available to listen to on the Internet, via digital radio receivers, and via digital cable and satellite. Our thanks to David Haddock for alerting us to this rebroadcast!

Today's Guardian newspaper in the UK reports on the campaign to save Grantchester Meadows in Cambridge, which Brain Damage reported on originally back on April 14th this year. Roger Waters has now added his voice, and the use of his song about the place itself, to the campaign, as seen in the following extracts from the Guardian report:
