The new edition of Rolling Stone Magazine, celebrating their list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" as mentioned previously on our news pages, has finally hit European shores, and should be appearing in magazine retailers now. The magazine includes a hybrid SACD disc with selections from some of the Top 500 albums, and, as with the magazine itself, includes Pink Floyd ("Money" from Dark Side Of The Moon). The disc, in a white card sleeve, includes a competition with over 45,000 prizes to be won.

This Is Bath, a UK regional publication and website, reported today that Nick Mason was amongst those who appeared at a celebrity reception at a Bath stately home, St Catherine's Court, near Batheaston, to raise money for a new arts youth centre. We have just heard that the fabulous "Interstellar" exhibition, currently running in Paris (until January 25th 2004) and fully reviewed on Brain Damage, may we be moving on to another European music museum!
We haven't got the confirmed dates yet, but it is said to be moving to the newly constructed Deutches Rock'n'Pop Museum, in Gronau, Germany. Gronau is a city near the German/Dutch border, and the museum itself is in the vicinity of the city centre.
We are hoping for all the confirmed details shortly, and will post them here once we have them. As yet, we do not know if there will be any differences in the exhibition. Obviously, the possibility exists that it will travel to other locations as well - many of our friends outside Europe are (naturally) extremely keen to see it. As and when other locations for the exhibition are made public, we shall pass on the good news. Our thanks to Michael Nickel for the tip-off!

On a regular basis, long running British music newspaper the New Musical Express (or NME) collects together sets of archive articles, ads, review, interviews, etc., all based on one key artist, time, or genre. The collections appear in a glossy, well-printed, and heavy magazine format. They have just published the latest of these collections - this time covering the sixties.

Our friend Col Turner over at A Fleeting Glimpse has had confirmation from the incredible backing singer P P Arnold, that Roger Waters has asked her to put aside nine months in 2005 for his next tour. Obviously this will include an amount of rehearsal time (he is said to be performing tracks from his forthcoming album) and as yet, no dates or venues are known. As we have information, we will post it here.
