In the Netherlands the "Arrow" radio station recently ran a "Top 500 All Time Classic Poll" - and Pink Floyd filled a staggering eighteen places - more than any other artist! Their songs included: Comfortably Numb (number 10), Shine On (15), WYWH (18), ABITW (41), Echoes (52), Money (79), and Time (107).
Other interesting information about the poll - the top 4 is the same as last year, and number one in the list (Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven) had twice as many votes as the number three in the list (Guns 'N' Roses November Rain). Our thanks to Nick Spekkels for this information!

The leading (only?) daily UK fiscal newspaper, The Financial Times, has sent one of their reporters to
Paris to review the Interstellar exhibition. On the whole, somewhat underwhelmed, they still found things to please and impress, and the report makes interesting reading. There's also a nice quote from Nick Mason on the ability of the band to keep going:
"Pink Floyd are like one of those candles that never go out. You blow it, turn away, and the damn thing is alight again!"

Recent rumours of a reunion tour of the Alan Parsons Project, have proved to be just that - rumours. Parsons, who famously engineered Dark Side Of The Moon for Pink Floyd, has strenuously denied all talk of a tour or a reunion, which was promoted without his consent or participation.
A number of Floyd fans will be disappointed by this news, but should console themselves with this: his management have confirmed that the finishing touches are being put on his new album, due in the spring of 2004, which features a guest appearance by David Gilmour. More information as we have it...
