We have been contacted by the director of the team responsible for the official site covering the Maltese EU accession celebrations, to let us know about the pictures and other coverage of the show on it.
The main area of interest are the range of great photos of the event, which of course featured the world premiere of fifteen minutes of Roger Waters new opera, Ca Ira. There's plenty of other things to be found on the site - news, interactive maps, and more - which can be found at WelcomEurope.com.mt. Definitely worth a visit! Our thanks to Franco at Square Concept for letting us know.

Vernon Fitch, the co-author of a new book about Pink Floyd's The Wall project, has written to us this evening to fill us in with some more detail on it.
"Pink Floyd The Wall - An Examination of Rock's Conceptual Masterpiece" by Vernon and Richard Mahon, will be published by Genesis Publications in December 2004, to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the release of the original album. Genesis Publications are a specialist bunch, who produced the wonderful Psychedelic Renegades book, which featured Mick Rock's archive of Syd Barrett pictures. They will be treating Vernon and Richard's book with similar care and attention, producing a deluxe full-colour hard bound edition.

The new issue (cover date June 2004) of the UK's Uncut magazine hit the shelves this morning, with a
nice colour cover (shown right) featuring Roger, David, Nick and Richard, alongside the coverstrap of "Anger. Betrayal. Regret. The last days of Pink Floyd".
The exclusive, and fascinating, interview with Roger features a large selection of wonderful photos - from a modern day, black & white portrait of Roger, through early 1970's shots from various venues, to more recent days, via a stunning shot of Roger as a baby, with his father, mother and
brother. He's the spitting image of his mother!

The 1846 steam engine repair shed and turning platform for locomotives (hence its shape) that later
became a legendary concert venue, known as the Roundhouse, saw work finally start on its £28million regeneration yesterday. The venue, in Chalk Farm, London, was host to a number of performances from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, and of course, Pink Floyd.
