First off, our best wishes go to Richard Wright, who is currently convalescing after a cataract operation. He was unable to attend the UK Music Hall Of Fame, due to the operation, but is obviously not letting it stop him get about, too much!

Near the end of last night's U2 show in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Bono thanked Pink Floyd for their Live 8 performance, and specifically said hello to Rick Wright, as he was in the audience! Hope you are making a speedy and full recovery, Richard!

Gerald Scarfe - more appearances and book signings Print E-mail

We reported on 3rd September of the publication on November 3rd of "Drawing Blood: Forty Five Years of Scarfe Uncensored", an eager-awaited book that sees highlights of Gerald Scarfe's career compiled into a lavish hardback book.

The book is a real feast for all Floyd fans, due to his extensive work with the band, over the years, featuring a few illustrations from The Wall which haven't been seen before - alongside the five decades of incredibly varied work he has done for all sorts of people and publications.

Lost Syd Barrett concert recording - found! Print E-mail

An incredibly rare recording of Syd Barrett, performing live on 27th January, 1972, with the Last-Minute Put-Together Boogie Band, at a show in Cambridge, has recently been unearthed, and plans are underway for a release!
