For those intending to see Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour on his forthcoming tour (see the full tour date listing), we have some news on already announced shows, and a possible date in Los Angeles.

Back on the 15th February, and 13th May, we told you that Pink Floyd were going through their stage props, sitting in storage, to see what is still in reasonable condition.

One of the major pieces that they have sorted out is the legendary mirror ball flower, used for many years in various iterations and configurations as a focal part of the show, during Shine On You Crazy Diamond, but most recently on the 1994 Division Bell tour.

Tickets for David's shows went on sale this morning (Friday) (with the exception of the French tickets, which were yesterday), and the speed that they sold was quite breathtaking!

General confusion is now abounding over the status of the long-awaited Pulse DVD. Our last report noted the move to January 16th 2006. However, various sources worldwide are now saying that this date has shifted again - possibly even to late 2006! We've been trying to get a definitive statement from EMI themselves about the date revision, or why it has changed again, but as yet don't have this.
