We recently brought you a slight date shift for the long-awaited, and much delayed, 2DVD release of Pink Floyd's PULSE; over the weekend, we received another update on the release dates, which have been moved yet again!
The worldwide release has now been put back until the new year, with the title now scheduled to hit the stores on/around 16th January 2006. This will vary by a few days depending on the country of release.

Back on 8th September we were first to bring you the news that Pink Floyd are amongst the inductees to the 2005 UK Music Hall Of Fame. We have a couple of updates for you, including details of where you can get tickets to the induction ceremony, being held on 16th November at London's Alexandra Palace, and a possible David Gilmour performance.

The US version of the December 2005 issue of Playboy Magazine has their annual Music Poll. In the associated feature, they interview certain musicians on their views of the current music scene, Roger Waters being one of them.
They posed him a few questions, looking at his view on the Live 8 reunion, and also modern music. Here's an extract of the article:

A couple of weeks ago, Guy Pratt played his first London West End show, presenting "My Bass And Other Animals", his one-man-show looking at his long musical career.
The show, reviewed on this site, and completely sold out, is a hilarious look at life with the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd and others.

In the weekly Dutch Belgian magazine Humo, of 4th October 2005, Roger Waters was interviewed at great length - with some interesting revelations concerning the Live 8 reunion with Pink Floyd, and the existence of a vintage concert performance on film...
The fascinating interview finds Waters in a slightly acerbic mood, not helped by the line of questioning at times. The initial thrust of the chat is his recently released opera, Ca Ira, but quickly turns to all manner of subjects - from the Wizard of Oz synchronicity rumours, through to Syd Barrett, why Roger's children used to curse him at school, early tours, his aborted plans for a Wall show in 2000, and how, no matter how far you travel, you can never fully escape Pink Floyd's reach!
