Gilmour, following the release of his new album On An Island, and his
current tour, broadcasters are making the most of this, and we've news

With David Gilmour's 2006 tour
currently en route to the US, for his dates there and in Canada, we've
got news today of some more activity to be aware of.
First, David and his band will be
making an appearance on the highly respected, and long running, UK BBC2
TV series "Later With... Jools Holland". They will be performing in the
studio, on an (as yet unspecified) date.

calling to mind Munch's "The Scream". Last month we brought you news of

Two bits of David Gilmour news for
you today. First off, the Dutch Radio 2 channel today broadcast a
fascinating interview with David, recorded just before his concert of
20 March in Amsterdam.
They have made the interview available to download on their website - schiffersfm.radio2.nl,
in two versions - the 9 minute version aired on the radio, complete
with plenty of music from the album (select "korte versie"), and the
chiefly unedited, raw interview with David lasting nearly 16 minutes
(select "lange versie").
