The 2DVD release of one of Pink Floyd's stunning 1994 concerts at London's Earls Court has been a long time coming. PULSE hits the stores in most countries today and tomorrow, and is sure to be a big seller. And one lucky Brain Damage visitor can win one in our latest competition!

Pink Floyd PULSE
Pink Floyd's PULSE DVD

The release is stuffed with extra features and the main feature has had a lot of work undertaken to ensure the best possible sound and picture quality. For the full tracklisting and list of extras, check out our news item of June 1st, and don't forget to check out our full review of PULSE.

Thanks to our friends over at SonyBMG, we had a copy of the DVD to give away. You had to answer the following questions correctly:

  • What was significant about the first night of the band's 1994 run at Earls Court?
  • On what date was the PULSE DVD concert recorded?
  • True or false? A live version of Marooned is included on the DVD.
  • and then email your answers, together with your postal address, to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by 11:59pm (UK time) on July 31st. One lucky person was picked, at random. Please note that no correspondence will be entered into, and that the competition mailbox is unmonitored - entries were checked on August 1st and the winner announced shortly after.

Good luck to all of you entering this competition!

COMPETITION NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNER IS... Christopher Head, Norwood, MA, USA. Well done, Christopher!

Alternatively, if you cannot wait to see if you are the winner, PULSE can be ordered, with a discount, through the following special links: Amazon UK, Amazon US/International, Canada, France, or Germany. Any item bought through these links at Amazon (not just Floyd items) helps with the running costs of the site, and we really appreciate it.
