You might find over the next week or so there will be fewer updates than normal on Brain Damage. We're taking a short break to prepare ourselves for the frantic activity that will occur once Roger Waters kicks off his string of 2008 concerts. As ever, we'll be providing full coverage of each and every show as it happens, whilst trying to keep our email inbox from going into meltdown! We should be alerted to any major breaking news, we will post updates when we can, and we will catch up with everything else when we're back. In the meantime, our sister site A Fleeting Glimpse will keep you updated on stuff...

We've got a collection of smaller, Pink Floyd-related news bits and pieces for you, which we thought best collected together in a small bunch. Read on for details of a new DVD/CD release, an unusual placing for a Floyd track in a rundown of the "Best British Songs", and more...

We know many of you are keen players of the console games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and often ask when Pink Floyd tracks will appear as part of the games. MyGamer.com posted a story yesterday (April 1st) saying that an announcement had been made of a Pink Floyd version of Rock Band, to be released at the end of the year.
The date of the story, and the breadth of the band's career covered, made us very suspicious of this story, so we checked with the company that makes the game to have it confirmed as a well-informed piece of April Fools Day fiction! Sorry to disappoint the gamers out there, who were already getting very excited by this!

Last Friday, Pink Floyd's Nick Mason officially launched his high quality, limited edition signed print of the Relics album cover. And, thanks to our friends over at the venue - St Pauls Gallery, in Birmingham - some Brain Damage regulars were in attendance at what turned out to be a very special evening.
The print itself has attracted a lot of interest, and for those who want to snap up their copy before they all go (there's just 195 worldwide!), don't forget that it qualifies for free shipping using the special Brain Damage/St Pauls Gallery offer (more details here).
Other than the picture to the left from Phil Geraghty, we've had some reports and a number of good photos from the event, from BD regulars and from the tired but happy staff at the gallery who worked hard to make it a success...

As we told you last Tuesday, Ron Geesin is recreating Pink Floyd's 1970 classic Atom Heart Mother (which he co-composed with them) in a very special pair of concerts, to be held on June 14th and 15th at London's Cadogan Hall (more details here).
They kick off the 2008 Chelsea Festival, and as you can see from the newly revealed Festival graphic [click thumbnail to the right], they are clearly seen as the key events for the organisers. Tickets went on sale this morning, and are going like the proverbial hotcakes! There are very few tickets left now, so if you are planning on attending what promises to be a VERY special event, don't delay, click here today!
