On Monday June 20th (moved from May 30th and June 6th), to coincide with the European leg of The Wall Live tour, comes the release in the UK and Europe of "Roger Waters - The Album Collection" (with the rest of the world getting it on or around June 7th). A limited edition 8-disc box set, with a
lift-off lid, it is a collection of his studio and live albums housed in mini-LP replica
wallets, and sitting alongside a 16-page booklet. There is no new music included, but for those who are lacking Roger's solo work, it is priced very reasonably so a great opportunity for those who want to bolster their collection.
You can pre-order the set now through Amazon UK (cheapest at around £12.50 off the recommended price), Amazon France, Amazon Germany, Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. You can also order it from Play.com and HMV.com (currently the cheapest non-Amazon retailer for this, with £10 off the recommended price).
Also re-released is the compilation album Flickering Flame, which features tracks not found elsewhere, including the title track itself, along with songs such as Each Small Candle, Knocking On Heaven's Door, and Lost Boys Calling. You can order this from the retailers above.
Coinciding with this, www.RogerWaters.com has had a dramatic overhaul - still providing the same information, but easier to find things like videos, news, and more.
Finally, don't forget to tune in to Roger's appearance on BBC Radio 4's "Desert Island Discs", which takes place on Sunday (May 29th) at 11:15am. More info on that, and how to listen internationally, here.

Pre-orders are now being taken for the newly-revealed Official 2012 Pink Floyd Calendar. An annual favourite amongst fans, the calendar celebrates the band over the course of the year, and is often then squirrelled away as a collectable in the years to come!
This year's calendar, due for publication on September 1st, features one of the Dark Side era Broadhurst Gardens promo shots on the cover, and boasts a free poster inside. At this stage though, details of what images the calendar contains aren't available. However, we're expecting it to be another StormStudios design, so it should look good on your wall.
If you want to place your order now, you can do so through Amazon UK, Amazon France, Amazon Germany, or Amazon.com.
UPDATE: As at the start of August 2011, these started being shipped out, well in advance of the official publication date, and full details of what images they contain are now available. We have therefore replaced the provisional cover art with the front and rear of the calendar (click the thumbnails to see them in a little more detail). Get your orders in now for this popular item!

This afternoon, a third Roger Waters Wall concert in Greece has been announced. The show takes place on Tuesday, July 12th at the OAKA Arena/Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, Greece, and tickets go onsale on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:30am, through Tickethouse and online through Ticketpro. At time of writing this, the show will be the final one of the 2011 schedule.
As a reminder, Roger's management have advised that the Greek shows are being filmed and
recorded. As a result they are making it clear that all cameras and all
mobile phones are strictly forbidden and will not be admitted to the
venue.
They point out that "the use of flash from cameras and phones will have a
catastrophic impact on the projected images on the Wall and
consequently on the quality of the filming. This is an extremely
serious issue. The actual recording is not the problem; it is the use of
flash. Constant flashing from members of the audience totally destroys
the images projected on the Wall and this means that the filming of
this concert will be a failure".

Rolling Stone have just interviewed Nick Mason on the historic scenes at London's O2 Arena last week, when David Gilmour and Nick joined Roger Waters during his Wall show there.
Nick, who made a return visit to the O2 Arena last night to watch the show again, revealed his surprise last Thursday. "It hadn't ever been quite finalized – there'd been talk about maybe playing in Paris or something else, so it was very nice to get there and see that [David] was there". He added: "It was really nice to be sort of part of it and to show support for Roger, not that he really needs it. I suppose it's nice to have Roger wanting to register David and myself as part of it, in a way. It was sort of a mutual thing: it was nice to be recognized but also very nice to lend support to Roger and make it clear that we're not sort of punching it out in these auditoriums. We're not critical of him doing it."
The full interview provides a fascinating look at their thoughts, and the preparations for the guest spots. He also plays down the possibilities of future repeats of last Thursday night, or even a full scale reunion. "It was a very nice thing to do but it could become a bit cliché if we kept climbing to the top of the Wall and kept hugging each other onstage. I mean, I think enough is enough. I mean, we're English after all. We don't do that hugging thing a lot."
