Despite us understanding that all of Roger's shows had been announced, there's been a little flurry of activity these last few days. Another show has just been added - the Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 5th 2011 - and tickets for this show went on sale this morning through TicNet.se. You can check out the page for this show here , and discussions on all the shows are underway over at our Facebook page!

Taking his Wall Live tour to almost 100 dates, Roger Waters has added the Arena Zagreb, in Zagreb, Croatia, to the 2011 schedule. Him and his band will be performing there on April 13th, 2011, and the RogerWaters.com presale will start on August 27th for those registered at that site. General sale of tickets will follow after that date through the normal outlets. Naturally, we've added all the details we currently have for this show to a dedicated page, which will gradually build into a fully inclusive resource for this show...

This evening, an additional date - and venue - has been added to the 2011 Roger Waters Wall Live Tour. Roger will be performing at the Herning Arena (also known as the MCH Multiarena), in Herning, Denmark, on June 13th, 2011, and the RogerWaters.com presale begins for this show on Wednesday (August 25th) so if you aren't already registered there, go do it now so you don't miss out!
Following the presale, tickets should be on sale through normal ticket agents including Billetlugen.dk. As normal, we have already set up a special page devoted to this show, which can be found here.

Now open in Hannover, Germany, is the latest Gerald Scarfe exhibition, Heroes and Monsters. It covers his extensive career drawing satirical and political cartoons, alongside work for people like Pink Floyd (such as The Wall).
Our friend, regular BD visitor Guntmar Ploetzke, visited it when Gerald was also there to launch the show, and kindly shares his report with the Floyd community worldwide. Over to Guntmar:
When I entered the Wilhelm Busch Museum in the Georgengarten in Hannover all seats were occupied already. Only a few seats in the middle of front row were vacant but reserved for the guest of honour Mr. Gerald Scarfe and his lovely wife Jane (Asher).

As we reported back on July 7th, Storm Thorgerson has brought his wonderful cover images, and more, to the good people of San Francisco.
His new show there - entitled Lovers of Covers: The Album Art of Storm Thorgerson - has just opened at the San Francisco Art Exchange, and with thanks to Nikki at the gallery, we have three pictures from the launch evening showing Storm himself, Aubrey "Po" Powell, and various friends enjoying the event.
The show is open until September 15th, 2010, and well worth a visit if you are in or near the area.
