Pink Floyd in latest Record Collector magazine Print E-mail

In a progressive rock flavoured issue of the UK's "Record Collector" magazine (cover date May 2004), which features Peter Gabriel on the cover, there are some interesting Pink Floyd titbits inside.

The main feature is a review of the 2004 remaster of The Final Cut CD, which the reviewer gives four stars (out of five) to the "under-rated final Waters-era studio album", summing it up as "hardly an album to cheer you out of your winter blues, then, but as a masterstroke of conceptual thinking and delivery, it's a worthy postscript to The Wall".

To accompany the review is a short, four question interview with James Guthrie, the producer/engineer.

The latest issue (cover date May 2004) of the UK's Classic Rock Magazine features a couple of items of interest to Pink Floyd fans. Firstly, there is a whole page review of the 2004 remaster of The Final Cut.

The excellent reggae-style reading of Pink Floyd's classic album, Dark Side Of The Moon, is being taken on the road again, this time to the UK.

Further to our previous news stories about Nick Mason's own history of Pink Floyd, some of which came from Nick himself, we now have the latest on this eagerly awaited book for you.

"Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" by Nick Mason will be published by Orion Book on September 9th 2004. The hardback book (with a UK recommended retail price of £30.00), a hefty 360 pages long, will be chock-full of rare pictures to accompany Nick's own view of the history of the band.
