The September issue (273) of German magazine Eclipsed has, appropriately with a title like that, got plenty of coverage of Pink Floyd in this issue.
They focus on the 50 years of Wish You Were Here, with the cover mounted CD having a suitable sleeve bringing together two of the iconic Hipgnosis images - the burning man, and swimming through sand.
Here's a translation of their synopsis of the coverage: "Hasn't everything that can be said and written about Pink Floyd's 1975 masterpiece already been said and written about Wish You Were Here? Yes, it has... And yet: this album is so timeless, it couldn't be more timeless. It is a prime example of how great art can emerge from great problems. To mark the anniversary, eclipsed sheds light on the mood and situation within the band at the time, analyzes the performance history of the songs, presents 50 facts and anecdotes and lets a total of 50 musicians have their say about this very special album."
Copies of this German-language magazine can be ordered through this link. Our thanks to Michael Nickel for the info about this publication. We know that a number of you love picking up magazines and books that have Floyd features!
