Last Wednesday, David Gilmour presented the world premiere of his new concert film, Live At The Circus Maximus, Rome, at a packed BFI IMAX in Waterloo, London. This first look at the film clearly thrilled the audience (a mixture of public and invited guests) with applause throughout the end titles. The film is being screened in 64 countries, on well over 2000 screens, from tomorrow (check local listings for exact times and dates; most are tomorrow - Wednesday, 17th September - but there might be other screenings too) and we know many of you will be catching this superb film in a cinema somewhere near you. More details can be found at www.DavidGilmour.film.

Following the screening, David underwent a special Q&A (pictured above) with questionmaster Chris Salmon, both somewhat dwarfed by the huge screen (and huge David!) looming behind them - it measures approximately 26 metres wide by 20 metres high (85 x 66 feet). This makes it the largest cinema screen in the UK. It was a mix of questions that Chris had, with audience submissions, some of which were slightly unusual! The Q&A was filmed and can be seen in full here:
