Some of you might recall that back in June 2005, we told you about www.whateverittakes.org, which had teamed up with a number of celebrities who had created unique artworks and designs for the website to sell, with the aim to raise a minimum of $3 million over three years to fund charitable projects in developing countries, contribute to the protection of the environment and other charitable causes.
One of those celebrities was Nick Mason, who crafted a very unusual, Heath Robinson-esque "Symbol of Hope" drawing (which can be seen here) akin to his cover of the Pink Floyd's "Relics" album. The good news is that Whatever It Takes have now just created a small range of 30cm x 30cm (the same size as an album sleeve) canvas prints. Of the nine designs they have chosen, Nick's is one of them! The canvases, priced at £10.99, are not only ethical products through supporting charities, but are also made in an ethically audited factory, and environmentally sound, too.
With proceeds going to 21st Century Leaders and The Prince's Trust, it is an ideal way to support their good work whilst gaining a delightful Nick Mason artwork. Visit www.whateverittakes.org to purchase yours.
