With David Gilmour's new album, On
An Island, just two and a half weeks away (it hits the stores on March
6th in the UK and Europe, and March 7th in the US), we have news of how
you can hear a sneak preview of the complete album!

Canadian radio station Chez 106
FM, based in Ottawa, have announced that they are airing the album
premiere on Saturday, March 4th, at 8am (which is 1pm GMT). They will
be repeating this complete run-through of David's latest work on
Sunday, March 5th, at 8pm (1am GMT). Whilst no substitute for hearing
the album on CD or vinyl, it will give you a chance to give it a hear a
couple of days early.
The radio station streams their programming on the web, via CHEZ106.com. You need to register yourself into their VIP club, but this is free of charge - and you can sign up from any country, too.
Our thanks to Brent Ingalls for his help in bringing this info to you.
The album can now be ordered for delivery upon release, through these special links: US/International, UK/Europe, Canada, France or Germany.
We know that a number of you will
also want to buy the vinyl edition (or indeed, instead of the CD
version!). Here's the links you need for this edition, which will be in
a specially designed gatefold sleeve: Amazon UK, France, or Germany.
