We recently reported
that a vast cache of rare concert recordings made by the Bill Graham
concert promotion company from the 1960s onwards, had been discovered
in a warehouse.
Ongoing efforts are being made to
catalogue, clean up and, where possible, release the recordings - and
one of these that can now be heard is part of a Pink Floyd performance
from 1977.

We reported back on 22nd December
that early Pink Floyd producer Joe Boyd is putting the finishing
touches to his autobiography, looking at his work in the music industry
in the sixties.
Boyd is also the subject of a BBC Radio 2 profile, as part of the "Without Frontiers"
series.

With the release of David Gilmour's
new album, On An Island, just three weeks away now, preparations for
the launch and publicity activities are gathering pace. As part of
this, David recently spent some time with respected rock photographer
Ross Halfin for a photo shoot, which you can see the results of...and

Pink Floyd have been inducted into
yet another Hall of Fame, following on from their November 2005
induction into the UK Music one.
Legendary adult magazine Playboy
have inducted the band in recognition of their "unprecedented combined
commercial and musical gravitas" in the March 2006 "Sex And Music"
issue, in US stores now.
