Last night saw the recording of David Gilmour's very special, exclusive concert for the BBC, at London's Mermaid Theatre.
In front of an audience of
competition winners, and a handful of David's family and friends, a
full house had the pleasure of seeing a wonderful performance - which
everyone will have a chance to hear on Saturday, with highlights of the
show viewable online and on BBC Interactive TV.

This weekend sees the first round of
the 2006 Formula One Grand Prix Championship. As part of the first
race, being held in Bahrain, Nick Mason takes a break from Pink
Floyd-related activity to participate in one of the support races at
the event.

Released as a German translation
last September, the book "Inside Out: Pink Floyd. Eine persönliche
Geschichte von Nick Mason" has sold well. To help with the promotion,
Nick is returning to Germany next week on the latest leg of his book
tour.

As David Gilmour's new album, "On An Island", hits US stores today, we have a couple of updates for you.
First off, we've just heard that
US chain store "Best Buy" have an exclusive limited edition of the
album on sale, which includes "Island Jam as a bonus track. Many of you
will recall that this was the lovely, bluesly number which was on David's own website to see/hear for a few days around Christmas.

Just some advance notice for
those who want to attend Roger's Palermo, Sicily concert on 6th June,
or Reykjavik, Iceland concert on 12th June.
Tickets for both these shows are due to go on sale tomorrow morning,
and are bound to sell quickly!
