It was confirmed yesterday by the producers of the show, that Roger Waters will appear in the revival of "The Exonerated", the play about wrongfully convicted survivors of death row.
Roger and the actress Kathleen Chalfant will join the rotating cast of the critically acclaimed play for the production's final week at the Culture Project at 45 Bleecker Street in the East Village, appearing from November 27th, 2012, through to December 2nd, 2012. The majority of the shows are at 8pm, although the final day of the show (a Sunday) has a matinee performance at 3pm as well. Ticket links are below.
"The Exonerated" follows the true stories of six people who were sentenced to death and later freed after evidence of their innocence came to light. It had its premiere in October 2002 and ran for over 600 performances, with a rotating cast of stars reading accounts by former death row inmates.
The Culture Project revived the show in September to note its 10th anniversary, and several stars have joined the six-person company for temporary stints, among them Stockard Channing, Brian Dennehy and Brooke Shields.
This concert is expected to be particularly popular, so we would urge those of you wanting tickets not to delay, and if you use our link to the Ticketmaster Roger Waters page, it will give a small but vital contribution toward the running costs of Brain Damage, without costing you any extra.
There are two ticket prices - £75 plus fees for seats in all levels of the stadium, or standing on the pitch, which are £60 plus fees.
Just published is the latest issue (number 21) of the Pink Floyd fanzine "Heyou" run by our friends over at the Italian website of the same name.
The 52-page dual language magazine (in Italian and English), which is published every six months or so, catches up with Floyd news from January through to October. However, the main thrust of the magazine lies in two directions. First, there's coverage of the Floyd's activities in 1972 - specifically the Obscured By Clouds and Eclipse/Dark Side projects. There's also an extensive review of the Yankee Stadium Wall concerts from earlier this year, written by Elliot Levin at the Examiner.com website.
Elsewhere in its pages, Michael Simone, who runs the Reg fansite, is interviewed concerning
his work celebrating Roger Waters' life and career.
More details of the Heyou fanzine can be found at www.heyou.it/fsubscrbd.htm,

issues costing 30 euros within Europe, and 40 euros outside Europe)
