Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!

Historic Prague was the place to be for a show packed with its own history. Reports are slow to arrive for this show, but what we hear it that it was another good show, with the band on top form. No changes to the set, and all the special effects were present, to a delighted audience.

Budapest is the next stop on the tour, where the band are sure of a warm welcome.

CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributer, Vlado Marcinek

It was an astonishing performance with lots of sound and visual effects. It really took my breath and I enjoyed the whole show very much. I can say that one of my dreams has come true.

I'm 24 and I'm Pink Floyd fan from the age of 15. This was my first chance to see Roger's gig. Truly amazing!

CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributers, Jiri and Michal Beran

Well, the evening started with the typical waiting for the show - but this time with a nearly-3D image of a radio, bottle of whiskey and all other details on the huge screen behind the stage. At first, I thought, the radio can be a reference on "Radio K.A.O.S." album, but my brother said, it can be a reference to radio waves from "Wish you were here" or hotel-room scene from "The Wall" or anything else  - you can choose, what you like :-)

sazka posterThe show started at 8.00 pm sharp and big hand on the screen several times changed the radio station.... and then THEY and ROGER were on the stage! The set list didn´t changed from last year, when we (my brother and I) were on the concert in Berlin. So the first "brick", "In the flesh", started the night of brilliant music and unforgetable experience.

I think, that set list is well-known, so let me to mention just a few highlights. In the whole show was a lot of new images for the screen, and all of them were better than last year. For example, the burning arch for the beginning and ending of "Set the controls...", aircraft carrier with helicopters in "Southampton dock" or the breath-taking scene with submarine and torpedoes during the breath-taking "Perfect Sense".

Another beautiful idea was the zooming moon on the screen during the pause before "Dark Side". But don´t understand me wrong. The other images for the rest of the songs were great too (walking hammers, photos and videos from "old good" days with all other "floyds" or Syd, a picture story (I don´t want to write comics) for "Leaving Beirut", or the whole "Dark Side".... oh yes, look carefully, there is on the screen old Czech tape recorder, Tesla during "Brain damage").

Of course, there were also "fireworks & toys" - pyrotechnical effects on "In the flesh" or "Perfect Sense" were unique. At the beginning of "Shine on..." the hall was filled up with falling soap-bubbles (so extraordinary feeling of fine rain -tears?- indeed).

During the "Perfect sense pt1" flying astronaut over our heads. Yes, we saw a flying pig with its writings during "Sheep", the one of the best songs of that evening. And finally - the amazing real prism on the end of "Dark Side"!!! Unbelievable experience.

The three-hour concert went so quickly away. We can only hope, that Roger Waters and his band of stars (all of them are so unique musicians) will sometime in the future come again.

But for now we can only say big THANK YOU for that magical night.
