This weekend, two seperate websites have published video footage of Roger Waters, who plays in Mumbai, India, tonight, and also Nick Mason, whose car collection is being shown at the Retromobile exhibition.

First, though, to the Nick Mason footage.

To tie in with the exhibition, Nick's car collection was featured as part of the long-running car show "Turbo" on French TV channel M6. The show aired last night (February 17th) at 7pm CET, with Nick being interviewed by Dominique Chapatte. 

The segment, lasting some four and a half minutes, is a fascinating look around his garage. On display was an array of beautiful Bugatti's, Ferrari's, a Maserati, a McLaren F1, and many more mouthwatering motors.

Nick also took the lucky interviewer out for a spin in a couple of the cars, and talked about the nature of driving them, especially when things go wrong (for example, in his Ferrari Enzo!).

Turning now to Roger Waters, and with Mumbai bracing itself for the show of the year tonight, the Indian website Business Standard has published a short segment of the press conference yesterday.

Lasting just one minute and fifteen seconds, it is none-the-less an interesting watch, with Roger talking about the show - the effects, the presentation and the aims of the concert, and of how he is so much more at peace with himself and life as a whole.

Whilst at the press conference, Roger was asked for his reason for returning to India. He explained that the reception he had last time, when he played in Bangalore, moved him.

"It was fantastic, they set up this wonderful construction as my stage and the crowd was brilliant. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was very unique and different from shows in other parts of the world."

With speculation and rumour rife about a further reunion of Pink Floyd, Roger was asked about the Live8 concert.

"It was really great to perform at Live 8. It was incredibly moving for the four of us, and the audience really appreciated it. But whether or not we reunite again in the future is not really answerable at this point."

When asked what was the most significant moment of his life, Roger suitably responded that: "I would have to say it was my birth!"
