On the evening before he joins his father, Roger Waters, onstage at the O2 Arena gig in Prague, Harry Waters is performing one of his acclaimed Quartet shows in the Czech city.
The Harry Waters Quartet are performing at Malostranská Beseda, at 8:30pm on August 6th 2013, and tickets are now on sale through this direct link. One of the other members of the Quartet will be familiar to many of you: Ian Ritchie, who played sax on Roger's Dark Side of the Moon tours!
For more information on the venue, and how to get there, visit malostranska-beseda.cz.

Roger Waters official Facebook page has the man himself putting it very succinctly: "To all the Greek fans: thank you, you did it- the gig is back on the original date at the original venue.
OAKA on July, 31. - Roger"
So, the concert due to take place at OAKA Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece, on July 31st, that recently shifted to Terra Vibe Park on August 1st, has reverted to the original plan. As before, tickets bought for either venue remain valid for the latest iteration of the show.
Our friend George Kargiolakis told us that there seemed to be some concern over the ability to set up the concert at OAKA stadium on the specified date (July 31st), thus a change had to be made. Of course, a lot of fans were not happy about this - not least, the venue is seen as a very poor choice, coupled with the massive disruption to travel and accomodation plans for many. Subsequently, there were a number of protests, but thankfully DIDI Music, the organisers, relented and reverted back to the original venue and date. Roger's thanks implies that he was relieved at the fans' pressure, and there was also a sense that he didn't want to perform at Terra Vibe too...

This weekend, in anticipation of the Italian city of Padua becomes rather bricked up (it plays host to Roger Waters presenting "The Wall" on July 26th), "Outside The Wall", a fascinating sounding exhibition organized by Floydseum, opened, which offers major guest speakers and an unique opportunity to admire objects and memorabilia from around the world.
The Cultural Association Floydseum are behind the organization of the largest exhibition dedicated to "Pink Floyd The Wall" ever realized
until now. The Hall of the Cultural Center Agora Altinate/San Gaetano in Padova hosts the first exhibition of some of the most valuable and
rare pieces from the private collections of fans around the world related to the discography, film and live shows of the Wall project. From the pictures that were kindly sent to us by Floydseum's Alberto Durgante, the show looks pretty much unmissable if you able to get to Italy whilst it is open. There are some wonderful, and incredibly rare, items of memorabilia from posters to band-issue equipment, pictures, prints, records and t-shirts (and much more).
The pictures - more than thirty of them - are arranged in a special gallery on the Brain Damage Facebook page - so if you are yet to pay us a visit on this social media platform, there's no better time! It's a place where we have all sorts of stuff that doesn't appear on the main site, and it's a great place to share your views and pictures.
Included in the exhibition's itinerary are a range of guest speakers. These include David Appleby, official photographer present on set during the shooting of the Alan Parker film, who spoke on July 13th for the opening of the Exhibition. Other speakers will be Brain
Damage's very own Glenn Povey, well-known author of key Floyd books such as Echoes, and Gio Alajmo, renowned Italian journalist and music
critic. For the first time in Italy, 47 original photos taken by
Appleby will be on display, alongside 20 rare original prints made
available by Gerald Scarfe, who has also created the poster for "Outside
the Wall". Scarfe is due to appear at the exhibition on the morning of
July 26th. Conferences and meetings with experts of the group, concerts
(Wit Matrix cover band) and demonstrations of the Virtual Museum in 3D,
the flagship of the Association Floydseum that allows the visitor to
navigate to a spectacular world, are scheduled during the opening of
"Outside The Wall".
In the exhibition space there is also the very eye-catching, famous 3 metre high neon
sculpture of the hammers created by Maestro Marco Lodola, one of the
greatest exponents of Italian modern art. Pictures of these are included in the gallery on our Facebook page.
The show runs until July 28th and looks well worth a visit. Further information will be found at Floydseum.org.

Our friend José Abellán who runs the Spanish Animals Pink Floyd Magazine has just told us about the forthcoming new issue.
They are celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of their fanzine, with this issue (number 18) that features quite an eye-catching cover. The unique design was created for them by DíazRada Media, and José tells us that it "graphically summarizes our fifteen years of activity and is a tribute to the recent departed Storm Thorgerson".
The fanzine includes news and information on all sorts of Floyd related topics, including Roger Waters The Wall Live, Ron Geesin's Atom Heart Mother book, and more. For more details and to place your order for this, visit their website.

As I'm sure most of you are fully aware, the 2013 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour starts in three days time, on Thursday at the Gelredome, Arnhem in The Netherlands.
From feedback we've already had, a significant number of you are going to at least one of the shows on this upcoming tour, and that's where you can help us out! We like to be able to give the Floyd community as much information and opinion as possible for each show, so... if you are going, please let us know what you thought of the show, any pictures or video you might have, details of any local TV news reports and so on. We're also still after ticket scans for the following shows: 23rd July, Split / 7th August, Prague / 14th & 15th August, Oslo / 17th August, Gothenburg / 14th September, Wembley. If you have your ticket for any of these, we'd love to include a small picture or scan of it on the relevent showpage. We'll obscure any identifying detail on the ticket for your protection.
We will, of course, also be including contributions from our friend, Simon Wimpenny. Simon, of course, has been on a bit of a mission with the previous Wall shows, attending a staggering number of them and reporting back accordingly. With his familiarity with the show, he's in an excellent position to identify changes (or even issues) with the production, and we appreciate greatly his generosity at sharing his insights. Make sure you check out Simon's excellent blog at SimonWimpenny.blogspot.com where you'll find full details of all his travels, along with more pictures and videos. In the meantime, to give you a flavour, to the right there's a shot (click the thumbnail) from his latest blog entry of preparations at the Gelredome, where rehearsals start today ready for Thursday's show...
