Pink Floyd at Fishmongsters Hall flyerExactly 40 years ago this weekend, Pink Floyd played at the Fishmongers Hall in Wood Green, London. Supported by long-lost bands Closed Cell Sponge and Stranger Than Yesterday, and accompanied by the Saffron Rainbow Light Show, the concert included the services of the appropriately named "Groovy DJ Jerry Floyd"!

BD visitor Andrew Codd's father was searching through his attic last week and came across some of his old flyers from when he booked bands to play at the venue in 1968 - he was just 17 at the time! Amazingly amongst his pretty much pristine flyers was one for the Pink Floyd gig there on November 8th, which he wanted to share with you all [click the thumbnail for a larger version]. Our thanks to Andrew, and Andy, his dad, for allowing us to show this flyer which a number of you will love to see...
