vh1classicOur friends in the US who have VH1 Classic amongst their television channels are in for a real treat tomorrow (Saturday, March 3rd). The channel are holding a special Pink Floyd Day, running from 1pm EST through to 11pm EST.

The schedule begins with the Classic Albums documentary on DSOTM, followed at 2pm by the film of The Wall. Then, at 4pm, The Pink Floyd Story: Which One's Pink? 5:30pm has David Gilmour: Live in Gdansk, and this is followed at 7:30pm with the world premiere of The Story Of Wish You Were Here.

This is a new documentary, made by Eagle Rock (the people behind the DSOTM Classic Albums show), and we can reveal that the show features new interviews with Roger Waters (in New York), David Gilmour (at Astoria), Storm Thorgerson, Nick Mason, engineer Brian Humphries, Venetta Fields, Jill Furmanovsky, stunt man Ronnie Rondell, Roy Harper, and Aubrey 'Po' Powell. Definitely worth watching! Hopefully, the show will be available to view elsewhere before too long, and we'll keep you posted on that.

Finally, at 9pm, The Wall is given another airing to conclude their Floyd evening. More details can be found at VH1.com.
